Jiàn Xiá Qíngyuán Wàizhuàn: Yuè Yǐng Chuánshuō

The moon's reflection ripples in the water. No one knows what lies behind that gentle reflection, nor what stories unfold beneath it... Throughout the land, countless martial artists have devoted their lives to mastering the martial arts, striving to create their own techniques and reach the realm of the greatest masters. For them, nothing is more enticing than the title of "The Best in Martial Arts." Just imagine—when every martial artist speaks your name with awe and reverence, acknowledging you as the supreme being—how exhilarating that would be! It is said that two peerless martial artists once fought to the death atop Lingjue Peak for this title. But in the end, all that remained was the heart-wrenching cries of two children who had just lost their parents... Ten years have passed. The children from Lingjue Peak have grown up. One embarks on a long journey through the martial world to fulfill his father’s dying wish of becoming the best. The other, consumed by the desire for vengeance, has spent years training in secret, plotting every move with painstaking care... It is said that a legendary manual, The Dao of Martial Arts, contains peerless techniques passed down through generations. Some people lose sleep over it, obsessively scheming to obtain it; others, for its sake, forsake their loved ones and are cast out by all; still others risk everything and ultimately lose their lives. But no one has ever truly seen it. As grudges and rivalries slowly unravel like silken threads, places like the Beimo Manor, the Cangjian Villa, and the Feilong Fortress come into play. A massive and horrifying conspiracy begins to emerge... The state of asking for nothing is a realm few can reach. Even Confucius, who traveled from state to state not for profit but for fame, could not escape worldly desires. When faced with the choice between "The Best in Martial Arts" and a love bound by life and death—what would you choose?
