ItzVerse: The Last File

Inspired by the mechanics of classics like OneShot and Undertale, ItzVerse: The Last File is an interactive, meta-narrative experience that breaks the fourth wall. Taking on the role of Davs—the creator himself—the player is forced to investigate their real computer architecture through files appearing on their desktop and windows that minimize on their own, all with the ultimate goal of stopping an imminent system collapse and rescuing their original characters from being deleted forever.

ItzVerse: The Last File is an interactive, meta-narrative experience that completely blurs the line between the digital world and reality. In this game, you take on the role of Davs—the creator himself—who is thrown into a race against time to manipulate his real-life operating system and save his beloved childhood creations from a permanent hard drive format. Following a massive system crash caused by a critical error, the digital universe begins to corrupt, forcing you to solve puzzles by interacting far beyond the boundaries of the traditional game window. The experience will generate actual text files on your desktop, display custom pop-ups, and cause characters to react in real-time to the exact coordinates of your mouse pointer. Inspired by acclaimed titles like OneShot and Undertale, this project represents the definitive evolution of the original story from its roots as a web novel into a highly technical, focused video game. By redesigning the internal dynamics and emotional bonds between its endearing characters, the game delivers a polished adventure filled with clever mechanics, tension, and genuine heart.
