June. A girl threw herself from the school rooftop. This is a story about that girl, told from two perspectives. [Shimabara's Perspective] As class president, I witnessed my classmate, Shimahara Machiko, jump to her death. Standing on the rooftop I looked up at was a chillingly indifferent girl, Kusamizu Yuusui. "She fell. Of her own will." As I drew closer to uncover the truth, I touched the unfathomable darkness within her— and gradually, my own mind began to be eroded... [Kusamizu's Perspective] Living out my lonely days, I met the carefree girl Shimahara Machiko at a quiet, hideaway café. Unable to leave her alone—hiding the scars of bullying behind a cheerful facade—a strange cohabitation began. Warm stew, baths shared between the two of us, peaceful moments. But the cruel countdown was steadily advancing... When the present and the past — two perspectives — intersect, the world is filled with a vacuum.
